About the artist
Painting the feeling of a place.
I am drawn to the still moments in the natural world: the turn of light across an open field, a path disappearing into the trees, or the brief presence of an animal at the edge of the landscape.
Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, I work in watercolour, acrylic, and pastel. My paintings move between landscapes and wildlife, using colour and expressive marks to hold onto the feeling of a place rather than every detail.
